Exam readiness

You are admitted to the final exam of a level when three conditions are met. The app shows your status under “Where do I stand?” in the “Exam readiness” card, with the topics that are still missing.

1. Practice runThe practice run of the level in the app, at least once at 75 percent or more. You may repeat it; the best result counts.
2. Traffic lightAll topics of the level are at least orange, and at least two thirds are green. A topic turns orange after one good day and green after two good days; a good day means at least three answers on the topic, two thirds of them correct. A weak day (at least three answers, fewer than two thirds correct) sets green back to orange; after that, two new good days count again. Green lasts 14 days after the last good day.
3. Required assignmentsYour instructor has checked off the required assignments from the course pack. The checkmark reaches your app with the next assignment code.

Once all three conditions are met, your instructor reports your exam readiness to IKAR Solutions. It applies from the day of the report and does not lapse afterward, even if a topic later falls back from green to orange.

The CEE level has no practice run. There, the traffic light of the level and your instructor's approval of your project work count.

Process

1. Exam case by emailYour instructor reports your exam readiness, and IKAR Solutions sends you the case by email from pruefung@ikarsolutions.com. Each cohort gets its own case from a pool.
2. Four weeks to complete itThe deadline is 28 days from the date the case is sent. You work on it with the templates from the course pack or on the SEM whiteboard.
3. SubmissionYou send your solution, together with the signed declaration of independent work, to pruefung@ikarsolutions.com. Use the subject “Prüfung <level>, your name, your course” and the file name SEM_Pruefung_<level>_LastName.pdf. Keep the word “Prüfung” and the file name exactly as shown; the exam mailbox sorts by them.
4. Video appointmentAfter the submission follows a short oral part by video. In it you explain your reasoning: why you recorded which finding, which mechanism you pursued and which intervention you chose. At the CEE level this part is the board video call on your project work.
5. ResultIf you pass, you receive the diploma as a PDF. If it is not yet enough, a retake follows with a new case from the pool, again with four weeks to complete it. There are two attempts in total; after that you repeat the course of the level.

Aids and independent work

All aids are permitted, including AI tools, your course pack, the book “SEM: Thinking Under Pressure” and the app. The exam assesses your analysis and your reasoning.

With the declaration of independent work you confirm that you worked on the case yourself and that the reasoning is your own. The video appointment tests exactly that: you explain your steps in your own words and answer follow-up questions on them.

Verify authenticity

Employers and customers can verify any diploma online: with the diploma number and the name, exactly as they appear on the diploma. The check runs in the browser; number and name are not sent. A revoked diploma is shown there as revoked.
